I just had an earthquake. A very minor one. But the house shook. It shook. I felt it. My first earthquake. My initial reaction? Again! The walls moved from side to side. The walls moved!!!

well, we were in the cinema at the time, but mum felt it, and everyone on the internet seems to be having similiar reactions to yours. It was a 4.7 quake according to the news release I just saw, which is a lot more than I thought it'd be. seems everyone's alright though, which is good.
4.7? I expected it to be around 3, it was very light, even the spider in the bathroom didn't fall of!
Mmm, well it was a fair way away according to the report I read (can't remember exactly where, i think it was a fair way north of melbourne)
Oh, and there was also a facotory fire in Greensborough. near the station sccording to mum. under control now, but affected a lot of trains/buses in the area (including the one we were trying to catch to Northland....and eric's train home...)

I didn't actually think about that, a small shake-up for the house may be pretty bad for the trains.
(This made me worry, which made me think about mother-henning, which led to headless chickens, which led to Blackadder....)
Yeah, I felt it (As you know from my recent post), and I hear about that fire. Sorta freaked out my brother and his friends when they heard about it.
Factory expolsion was my first reaction, then to have a heart attack when my brother and his friends slammed open my door screaming 'DID YOU JUST FEEL THAT?!'

Me? I was convinced it was a dream, didn't really feel real. (It shouldn't have been real)
LOL, that would've been my first thought as well, especially since we've already had a factory explode near my house about two years ago..I slept through it, everyone else woke up and was confused....
