There is a fire in Heidelberg. It is not reported in the news curretly but I can see it out of my windows and doors. THERE IS A FIRE. Rita is curretly buying art supplies there and Grace and Jason (?) live there.
I can hear the sirens and helicopters.

I'm calmer. Can't see the smoke anymore. One is allowed to panic once in a while. Somehow, this one and the Tasmania one were both calmed by Jason. I need a level head sometimes.

Luckily for me, I live up a hill from where the fires are. From what I could see, the fire is near the sports grounds or in that general area at least. Whereabouts does Grace live? i'd imagine she'd be very close to where it is. Hopefully it doesn't get too out of control.....
Grace lives near the Heidelberg Primary.
(PS. Is there any website/chanell/radio station with these news?)
Hmm, will have to look on a map to see where I think the fires are compared to where grace is...

Either way though, it's still one wind-change away from simply heading into Heidelberg itself unless it's further away than I thought it was....

wow. How big was the fire? Did you see anything?
All I saw was the smoke. I noticed the air was thicker than usual when I got off the bus, then I spotted a rather alarming plume of smoke coming from the South side. Burgundy street was pretty filled with smoke and you could smell it alright. Not a good day to be an asthmatic.
Woops,sorry Alex. forgot that you got off the bus at Ivanhoe....sorry. Good that it seems to be not threatening any homes though. Also good that it didn't change direction and head into westerfolds (or at least it hasn't yet). That would be sad. :(
